Perspectives: Finding Meaning

Join us on February 12, 2024, in St. Pat’s C at 7 pm. This is a variation on our traditional interfaith dialogue. Come check out the new format as we learn from people of a wide range of faith traditions!

Interfaith Dialogue April 10 @ 7 pm in Carver/Turner!

WHAT: The Interfaith Dialogue is small group round table discussion where you hear what others believe and share what you believe in a guided, neutral, and peaceable environment.

WHY: In an attitude of respect, generosity, and openness, people of all faiths and no faiths can gather together and share for greater understanding and community.

Murder Mystery 2022!

Once again, during Opening Week, we will be hosting a Murder Mystery! This year’s event will be held on the quad between the library and the Puck, Tuesday, August 16, 6:30-8:30 pm. We’ll have water and some snacks to sustain you while you try to solve the murder of “Dr. Boddy.” More details will be provided when you check in. It’s a great way to have fun with a few of your classmates while meeting people in our affiliated campus ministries. Prizes will be available for those who successfully solve the murder!

Interfaith Dialogue: April 11th

This year’s Interfaith Dialogue will take place on April 11th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the Carver/Turner Ballroom in Havener. All S&T students are welcome to attend. This is your chance to meet students who might have a completely different background than you and talk about the beliefs and traditions that are part of your faith. There will also be great food.

If you would like to volunteer as a table leader, come to the event 45 minutes early for a quick training.

CMA Game Night!

We are hosting a Game Night for people of all faiths on Monday, February 7th, 2022! It will take place in the Carver and Turner rooms in the Havener Center on campus. You are welcome to come, invite all of your friends, and play games with people who might come from a very different background than you do.

Discovering Community

Community is so important when so many of us have experienced isolation!

Discovering Community is an opportunity for students to explore some of the various faith groups on campus at Missouri S&T. Many find community within these faith groups.

Participants are able to ask questions of the faith group representatives in order to discover beliefs and practices of the various groups.

If students complete their “passport”, they become eligible for a nice giveaway.

Join us on the Havener lawn between 11 am and 1 pm on April 8, 2021.

The World’s Religions

The Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis is offering a weekly Zoom series that surveys the history, beliefs, and practices of the major religions of the world. Visit https://bit.ly/3gcmVDx for more details and to register.

Murder Mystery!

Meet at the Puck on August 18 at 7:30 pm!

Our Opening Week event this year is a little different. Similar to the game Clue, you will go to different locations to obtain clues to solve the mystery. CMA member organizations will welcome you at their normal meeting places, or a suitable on-campus, COVID-19-appropriate location. Register at the Puck with your mentor group, starting at 7:30 pm, for more details.

All groups that successfully solve the mystery will be entered into a drawing for a pizza party. Hope you can join us!
